To balloon.. or not to balloon? That is the question.

So maybe December wasn't the best month to start a blog. This has been a crazy month! Good... but crazy. Thanks for those of you who have been patiently waiting for my next posts. :)

I'm going to share possibly my favorite shoot of the year with you! Excited yet?
I go to church with this gorgeous family and got the opportunity to take their family photos. I had so much fun with them! Their little girls are hilarious and seriously.. could they be any cuter?

Made for Each Other!

You can't get much cuter than my 2 friends Brad and Christina! Their wedding is coming up in January and I got the opportunity to second shoot with Candy Barker from Something Blue Photography on their engagement session. I love these pictures so much! I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out.

I'm so happy that you two found each other! You make a great couple! =)

I love my Family!

I had the opportunity last Saturday to take my sisters family photos! This was the first time they've had their family pictures taken with their newest addition Benjamin Gage. He is a doll!
In my humble opinion they are one of the cutest families I know. :)

Dana, like I said, is one my sisters and is such an amazing person! She inspired me to start this blog because she has a very successful blog herself. Spokane Bride Blog  Please go visit her today! She has an amazing giveaway going on right now that includes a free engagement or couples session with me and Candy Barker from Something Blue Photography. You don't want to miss out on it!

Candy Barker (also one of my sisters) helped me on this photo shoot. You can view more of her work at Something Blue Photography. Thanks Candy!

Fairy Tale Tea Party!

So I'm back up and running. Thank goodness... and my sister Candy for helping me out. :)

Question: What do you get when you add 3 beautiful children, a box full of dress up clothes, a camera and a nanny who happens to be a photographer? You do the math... I'll stick with taking pictures. ;)

I love the way these pictures turned out. They're magical! I hope you enjoy!

Technical Difficulties

So I'm pretty frustrated because this blog is acting up on me. I had a post all ready to go last Friday night and when I tried uploading the pictures they showed up tiny. Argh!
Please be patient with me. I'm getting it all figured out. Hopefully I'll have something coming your way tomorrow :)

Thank you for following my Blog! I really appreciate it!

I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

So... here it goes. My first ever blog post!

I am brand new to the photography business world (if that's the right term for it) but definitely not new to taking photos. 3 of my older sisters are all amazing photographers and I was able to learn all kinds of valuable information from them which has been very helpful for me.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for a long time but I've never wanted it to be anymore than that. I've always felt that if you take the thing you love and turn it into a job you'll end up hating it. So far I've been able to keep a nice balance with photography and my already crazy busy life in order not to get too weighed down. Photography is a great "escape" for me though and nothing gives me greater satisfaction than a great photo shoot. Which is exactly how I felt after taking this lovely couples engagement photos.

I'll be taking Greg and Jenna's wedding photos with my sister Candy ( from sobluephotography.com) in June of 2011. I can't wait to take more photos of this gorgeous couple!

I hope you enjoy viewing my work and getting to know me all at the same time. :)
